The Treasury Department has announced that the employer Play or Pay requirements, as well as the related employer and insurer health care reporting requirements, have been postponed for one year. Thus, those requirements, originally becoming effective in 2014, will not apply until 2015. These requirements were enacted as part of the Affordable Care Act.
